Curry | a young 6 years old | 49 lbs | Toronto area Meet Curry! Here's what his foster has to say about this sweet boy: "He loves human companionship. He loves being around me even when I'm not doing anything. I just get his cot out and place it close to me and he's just happy knowing that he's around me . I could be cooking, working or just resting and he's just happy to be included. He's a social guy but cautious . Any dog that approaches him quickly and is in his face - he will immediately move away. He sometimes barks out of excitement cause he wants to play with the other dog. When comfortable with a dog he'll sometimes choose to play, but other times will be happy just to coexist and do his own thing. He LOVES cats! He'd be fine as the only dog in the house but would also make a great companion to a dog or cat. He goes for 3 walks a day, he spends some time in his crate, hangs out with me and that's much of his day. He loves going on adventures and his recall on a long line is amazing. He does best when he knows what you expect of him. If he forgets what you want from him he's easily redirected. He's really smart so he gets it. He's basically testing out his limits. He has been called handsome and cute on our walks and people love that he's so well trained. He is a reserved guy at first and will need time to get used to a new environment but then he bonds with his people and is very sweet with them. . He approaches my roommates now and gives them kisses. He even sat on one of them today cause he wanted pets. He's a very cuddly boy but he needs time. He needs to feel like he is safe and can trust the people around him. After that is taken care of then you start to see his true self. " We understand! He's been let down by humans multiple times. We are so looking forward to him being in his forever home, and much loved. All he needs is some time and commitment and this boy will be the best friend you've had. We've seen how wonderful he is.
