Curious

URGENT “Curious” is a male Labrador and Rottweiller mix. He is a young guy who is already neutered and very goofy. He loves to run and be silly and enjoys long walks or hikes. He is good with big rambunctious dogs who will run and play with him but can be a little too much for smaller dogs. He also lived with 10 cats. His best friend was a cat who he slept with and hung out with. He even would clean his ears as they snuggled together. He is good with children but can easily knock them over and jumps up sometimes when he is being silly. He is housebroken and used to staying in his doggy crate when no one is home and at night when everyone is asleep. Otherwise he is kept loose in the house. He is a fun dog who will need an active family. He needs plenty of exercise to keep him occupied. His previous owner cried when she brought him in because she had to move into an apartment. She knew he would be too cooped up to be happy and she didn’t have a yard for him to run in. She said he is very well behaved when she is home, following her anywhere she went. He would never try to run away. We put Curious under urgent status because he is very bored here at the shelter and doesn’t do well being kept in his doggy run. He jumps up a lot and barks a lot because he is trying to get our attention to take him out. If you are interested in him, please come in and visit him.
