My Story

Meet Crayfish! Crayfish came to CCHS as a stray at the end of May 2023. At almost 6 years old, this sweet girl is lively and still in such high-spirits that there’s a furever home out there for her. High energy, exuberant, and constant motion are just a few words to sum her up! Some things that Crayfish goes ‘cray-cray’ for include: -Soccer! Crayfish was graciously given a bright green soccer ball by one of CCHS's amazing volunteers that will go with her to her furever home :) -Water! Turn on the hose and she will instantly light up! - Fetch! She will run for hours if you let her! This vibrant, eccentric pup will give you so much love and laughter. There is just so much fun to be had with her! Apply for Crayfish today! Crayfish's adoption fee has been sponsored. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
