(DOB 8/14/2021) Crash is heartworm positive. Please don't let this prevent you from adopting him. He deserves a loving home like all of the other dogs, and the rescue will cover his treatment. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC) until after his treatment is complete. Crash has a heart of gold and a story of resilience. His Pointer markings are gorgeous, he has the sweetest & biggest smile, with a smoochable, chocolate brown nose. He is weighing in at 55 pounds. Crash is a super sweet boy who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Despite his timid nature, he's incredibly loving and thrives in the company of other dogs, making him the ideal companion for a confident housemate. He will need his fur-ever family to have at least one other furry sibling for him. One of Crash's endearing qualities is his love for giving hugs; he's a true cuddle bug who enjoys affectionate moments with his humans. Crash loves chasing bugs around even though it is a losing game! He's also a fan of toys and loves romping around with them in the backyard. Speaking of which, Crash adores outdoor playtime and would flourish in a home with a fenced-in yard, preferably 6 feet or higher, where he can freely explore and enjoy his adventures. Crash's journey to finding a loving home started when he was rescued from the streets, earning his name due to a car crash that happened while avoiding hitting him. We don't know what his past holds, but he's more than ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless playtime. His ideal home would be on the quieter side, with a family that's home most of the time, providing him with the love, attention, patience and stability he deserves.
