COWIE AND BABY - U

COWIE AND BABY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED TOGETHER! THANKS ADKINS FAMILY OF SOUTH POINT, OH! Baby and Cowie are 2 female sister Basset Hounds who were born June 8, 2005, making them 4 years of age. Baby and Cowie are very sweet but also very unsure as to why they are with us. They do not understand why they are in the shelter and they do not understand that they are better off with us than alone. See, Baby and Cowie's Mommy passed away last week, leaving Baby and Cowie and 2 teenage children. Relatives have taken the children in but they had no place for the dogs so they were brought to us. Baby and Cowie are a bit overweight so we know they were well-fed. In checking vet records, we also found out they had been taken care of. We are trying very hard to keep these girls together. Baby is a bit timid and seems to be very bonded to Cowie so for her benefit, we would like to see them be placed together. They have already lost the only family they have ever known and to lose each other would be a lot for them to handle. They still have many years of life ahead of them.
