Meet Cowboy! He is a handsome and mature Heeler/Shepherd mix. We think he is about 6-8yrs of age. He may be the silent type but don’t let his shy demeanor fool you; he warms up quickly and is all about the dog friendly life! He came from a very humble living situation where he didn’t receive the care and attention he deserved, spending most of his life in a 10 x 10 kennel so we don't have info on how he feels about cats but he does well with all dogs he’s been in contact with, even being very patient with tiny playful puppies. He is friendly and affectionate with people and enjoys being petted. Despite his humble beginnings, Cowboy's personality shines through and he's a happy and chill guy who enjoys attention. He is great in the car and does well in his crate. He is a quiet and gentle boy and still learning about life indoors. He’s neutered, has had dental work and is up- to-date on his vaccines so he’s ready to hang his hat at his forever home. His foster has seen so much improvement with him and he’s now just one of the pack and settled in with the routine. With patience and direction, this sweet and gentle boy will continue to thrive and be a great addition to your family.
