My Story

Cowboy is a yellow lab mix who is about a year old. He showed up in my yard one day a few months ago and stayed.

Cowboy had a great home but, sadly, he was returned because he could get over the fence. The family worked with him and were successful until, one day, when he jumped out while the family was away from the house. A neighbor objected, threatened to shoot the dog, and then called Animal Control.

I have had no trouble with him trying to go over the fence, but I do not leave him outside all the time.

Cowboy is very good natured, gets along well with other dogs and children, does not chase horses, and has shown no interest in cats. He is crate trained. He is also microchipped.

Cowboy loves to play fetch, barks only at the unknown, and comes when he is called.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Petco on Bay Area Boulevard. The adoption fee is $125. All dogs are heartworm tested, on heartguard, fixed, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed. All dogs are microchipped.
