One year old Cowboy is hoping to lasso your heart with his happy-go-lucky, friendly and goofy ways. He’s a medium sized boy with a lovely, blocky head who’s a tad on the thin side. “I’m ready for seconds on the vittles anytime,” winks Cowboy.
Like a true cowboy, this Lab youngster loves to round up . . . tennis balls! He’ll drop and release the ball and wait for the next toss. Even if the ball lands in the bushes, he’ll wrangle it right on out for you. Cowboy is a fairly polite greeter; if you’re sitting he’ll gently put his paws on you or try to get in your lap in hopes of loads of petting. Like most of our rescued youngsters, leash manners need some work.
Energetic and active, Cowboy will thrive with an active family who will provide leadership, the consistent daily exercise a young Lab needs, structure and obedience training. Add a big dose of love to that too!
So grab some tennis balls and sticks, put on your boots and come round up the sweetest little guy in town . . . Cowboy!
