We are looking to rehome our Husky German Shepherd mix named Shaila.
She’s very excited, playful, and extremely smart! She learns very quickly.
She is crate trained, e-collar trained, and works well on walks with a prong collar.
She will be 1 year old on March 8!
We adopted her in September and found out we were expecting another baby in October. As a mom of one toddler, and another baby on the way I’m sad to say I don’t think I will be able to give Shaila the proper walks, care and love she needs so we need to rehome her…
At her previous owners she ate their chickens and ducks. So that wouldn’t be a good fit for her. She would do well with a single person, but also does well with other dogs or at least our dogs. I’m not sure how well she does with cats. She does well with kids, although she had a lot of fear of kids at first and other people so she would bark and back away from them, and show fearful aggression.
She hasn’t done that since!
She’s very food driven, and a bit possessive of sticks and toys in her crate. She loves food and running, walks, playing, etc.
Overall she’s a great dog, she’s very smart and beautiful. She does have a bit of a fear of people but with the right person that will be an easy fix I believe.
She is vaccinated. Her previous owners just did her vaccines themselves so we have no record of that. She had her rabies shot after got her.
