We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Cotton, 2year old, spayed female, white German Shepherd/labrador retriever mix, 51 pounds. Cotton is in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Hi! My name is Cotton and I was saved by Dizzy Dog from San Antonio ACS. When I came to my foster home I was really skinny and a little scared. :( My foster parents think I would really like a friend to play with. I can lay and entertain myself in the yard, although I sometimes play with things I shouldn't like the plastic pots and yard tools, so don't leave those out! I have very expressive blue eyes that look like I have eyeliner on. My ears are also great -sometimes they are up like a German shepherd and sometimes they are down. I cross my legs when I lay down and wait for a treat. I know how to sit and shake. I'm really very smart! I'm not sure how old I am but probably still young since I do have a lot of puppy energy! I've not been around many kids before and because I can be really excited to say hi, it's probably best if any kids in my life are older like 10-12+? I REALLY love attention! I love to be petted and if I can sit in your lap, I will! Once I get lovings I calm down. I don't really know how to play with toys so I probably didn't have many before I got here. I love going on walks and do really really well on the leash, not pulling and walking calmly next to you. I have never had an accident in the house and will go into my crate if you ask me. I won't make a mess there either but sometimes I get anxious and scratch at my bed in the crate so I prefer being with my people. I love to lay on the bed with you too, or just next to or even under your bed! I have a spot on my back that doesn't have any fur on it. My foster parents think I may have been burned by something or someone. They put cream on it to keep it soft, It's a little sensitive when it's touched but it doesn't seem to hurt. I'd love to be your new furbaby! I promise to love you a lot! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
