I have had Costello for a week now and he is a giant sweetie. Such an easy dog to have around. No bad habits at all. He barely barks, and he walks on a leash like a dream. First few days he was reluctant to get in the car and with his size it was impossible to lift him in. Now after several fun car trips hes jumping right in. Sleeps on the floor in the bedroom and when he is laying around he is always facing the door. I feel so safe with him around! If you want a big dog who is easy to manage, here he is. I do crate him when I go out but I will test letting him out this week. He has been in the house free when I have been out mowing for about an half hour with no issues. I consider him a lower energy dog. He usually gets exercise at garey park each morning but if he doesnt, he gets a leisurely 30 min walk at night and that is enough for him. He is a gem for sure! I havent had him around kids but he did well with Melindas daughter. He is good with my very easygoing cat, though he does enjoy the occasional chase the cat mayhem.
