Cosmo

Hi! My name is Cosmo (after the dog astronaut from "Guardians of the Galaxy) and I'm a medium-size dog with short, brown and white hair with a bit of black. I'm already dewormed, vaccinated and neutered. I was found as a puppy near a flea market when I was about to get hit by a car. The person who rescued me asked around in case I had a family, but since no one acknowledged me they took me home with them. When they took me to the vet, they found out that I was positive for canine coronavirus (not COVID-19) and I had to follow a treatment, so I had to go to the vet everyday. I'm a very happy dog (probably grateful that I was rescued!) and also very brave. While I was sick, I had to spend almost two weeks in a cage and I never cried at night. I'm a champ! I can be around other dogs without any issues, but so far I can only look at the host cats through the window because I can be a bit rough when I play. I'm currently learning the command to sit, and to play fetch. I also love to chew on my dog bones, which also prevents me from chewing stuff around the house! I love going to the park and I'm learning how to walk with a leash, but I also love car rides! I basically love to be out and about. I'm also a great guardian and will bark at any stranger that comes close to our house. Even when the weather is really hot, I don't like taking baths! So they usually have to kind of tie me up a bit to stay still. Ironically, I do enjoy tubs with water, as long as they're not too deep. Oh and one thing I absolutely fear are fireworks! I've been waiting for a home for about a year now, but I don't lose hope. I know I'll find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
