He loves to take naps on the couch with his foster mom or out in the sun on the porch. When he is not napping, he is in the yard playing with the 8 other dogs in the house. He gets along with all the different personalities. He has been around kids from 1 year old to 18. His foster family has family dinners periodically that include around 20 people. Corky enjoys getting love from everyone that visits. Corky adores kids. His favorite thing to do is follow the almost 2-year-old around the yard. They even have their own conversations and we don't want to know what they are talking about. Corky is house-trained (does have a dog door), crate trained and has pretty good house manners. He will need a family that understands he will need consistency, patience and lots of love while he adjusts to his new home and schedule. He is a little shy at first, but very sweet and enjoys the company of kids. ADOPTION INFORMATION: We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
