My Story

Cora is a dear, sweet, shy lady who was found as a stray in Durham Region. It is suspected she was kept either tied to a chain, or left outside in a pen or shed. Dear girl is initially shy and timid but does not have a mean bone in her body - and will warms up quite quickly if given time and attention. She is now in foster care with other dogs and is having the time of her life! She loves to play, romp and roll with her new canine friends. One of her dog friends likes to play in the water and Cora saw him go into the paddle pool and decided to give it a try - she LOVED it! She is learning so many new things now and flourishing in a fun-loving, relaxed environment. In a home environment Cora is quiet, loves kisses and pats, wags her tail when she sees her favourite people and gets silly in the backyard! A huge improvement from when she first came into the program. She's completely house trained, loves to cozy on the couch, has a great appetite, is crate trained and is a truly devoted companion. An overall sweet, gentle and low key babe, LOVE HER TO BITS! Cora has been completely vetted and one of her teeth was abscessing and she had dental surgery right away. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed and teeth taken care of. If you have a loving, wonderful home for a sweet, gentle hound, contact Speaking of Dogs Rescue. Cora is about 5-6 years old and has MANY years of love to share.
