My Story

Meet cute Copper! This handsome boy is a 1-and-a-half-year-old terrier mix. He weighs 60 pounds and is considered a large size dog. Copper has the typical energy of a young dog and he is the perfect size. He will need daily physical and mental stimulation to become the best pup he can be. He has energy to spare so walking twice a day is important and will be very beneficial for having a content and happy pup. If you have the time and commitment to devote to this sweet boy, he is sure to repay you with unconditional love and loyalty. Copper is good with other dogs and children. He loves to play with other pups and would enjoy a home with a canine friend. Copper has not met cats yet. Copper is house and crate trained but still working on leash training. He is a smart boy who is very treat motivated, so he is sure to pick up these important skills quickly with the patience and consistency of his new family. Although he is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Copper is quite intelligent learning tricks with relative ease. He has mastered shake, spin, sit, lay down, touch, look and come. He loves to play fetch and is a big fan of chew toys. Copper is happiest when he can play with his toys next to you and he loves to cuddle nap during t.v. time. As with all puppies, Copper is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion. If Copper sounds like the perfect match for you, read below! The adoption fee for Copper is $500.
