My Story

2/1/09 We have learned that Copper is afraid of the collar and leash. So not only are we working on crate training copper, now we have to get him used to a collar and leash. Copper would really benefit from being in an experienced foster home.***Update-Copper was very sick when he first came in. He spent a total of six days in the hospital (costing us over $800!). The vets never did figure out what was wrong with him but he is all better now! If you would like to make a tax deductable donation to help us pay Coppers vet bills, please let us know.***Copper is about a year old. He came to us from a high kill shelter. He is shy but sweet as anything! I am sure he will be coming out of his shell in the next few days. He is smaller than he looks in his picture.
