THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER. SHE IS STILL WITH HER OWNERS WHO LIVE IN LAWRENCE CO. AND NEED TO PLACE HER. Copper is a female Golden Retriever or mix who is 3 years of age. Copper looks very much like a purebred Golden in this photo and her owner says she looks full Golden though they will not say for sure she is. The owners have been faced with keeping Copper and her daughter, Camo, also posted on this site, very confined due to the neighborhood they live in. Instead of keeping her in this situation for the rest of her life, they would rather place her in a loving home where she can enjoy her life and have a little more freedom and room to exercise. Copper adores children and other dogs and may be fine with cats though she is curious enough around them to make you a little uncomfortable. Copper has a medium length Golden coat and has the typical laid back personality of a Golden. She would make an ideal family pet for something looking for the Golden breed.
