If you are looking for a big, beautiful, Golden to lay by your fireplace like the dogs on the cover of LL Bean, Cooper is not the boy for you.....yet.
You see, it’s hard to look like that, when your family up and moves away and doesn't even care enough about you to leave you with food or water. This combined with the poor care he received by his family when they owned him, has left him about 20 pounds underweight. That is a tremendous amount of weight for a dog. Even though his body might be slight, his heart is ENORMOUS! He is the most loving, sweet, forgiving soul you would ever want to meet. He is great with cats, kids, and yes ........he even adores both Yankee and Red Sock fans. He behaves like a gentleman in the house and can be left unsupervised.
Cooper would be a wonderful first dog, or a great companion dog to an easygoing friend.
