My Story

ADOPTED!
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT KIM AT (920) 379-2784 OR E-MAIL HER (weekdays only) AT: [email protected]. --- Hi! My name is Cooper and I'm a real sweetheart, if I DO say so myself! I do fine with other dogs (or cats) as long as they don't hassle me while I'm eating. (I like to eat in peace.) I came from a divorce situation in which my "dad" ended up with me and then he took me to the shelter because he claimed I started "marking" in the house. (But I haven't marked in my foster home, so....) At any rate, I prefer women to men, and would probably do best in a home without small children because I'm so little myself, and a small child might handle me too roughly or accidentally hurt me. I have a condition (which is quite common in small breeds) called cherry eye, but this will be surgically repaired (and I will be immunized and neutered) prior to adoption. --- The rescue group offering me for adoption does not operate a humane society or shelter, so they do not have a facility that is open to the public. Dogs like me are fostered by their volunteers in private homes, and we are not available to meet you until an adoption application is filled out and your references are checked.
