Cooper 2

Cooper is a sweet, lovable boy who lived with a family for two years. They can no longer care for him so this gentle giant is waiting at the shelter hoping someone will take him home. When in the yard, Cooper wanders the perimeter and examines his surroundings. He prefers to lean into his humans for petting, though and at 115 pounds, that is quite a lot of leaning! His leash skills are very good, and he loves to sniff and explore on his walks. Cooper's owners claim that he was good with their children although he would be better suited to a family with older children as he has a tendency to be protective of his family. He also enjoys car rides. Although he is dog friendly, he needs a slow introduction to them. Cooper has the potential to be a wonderful companion for a family that is experienced with large dogs. They will have a loving, sweet new addition. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting.
