One-and-half year old Cooper’s favorite activities are soaking up attention, playing with other dogs and sleeping all stretched out, upside down, completely relaxed along a wall. What a silly sight! Cooper is a big tall boy with a gorgeous shiny black coat who weighs a perfect 89 pounds.
Cooper was raised from puppyhood by a family who is no longer able to keep him. He’s housetrained, crate trained and knows “sit”, “down”, to come when called and is accustomed to being out and about with his family. He’s a typical energetic Lab youngster who is working on his focus and leash manners. Cooper is an enthusiastic greeter, ready with kisses and little cries of delight if it’s someone he knows. He loves playing with other dogs and has lived with a canine buddy. When it comes to his food, it’s “Paws off!” His brother has come over and gobbled up his dinner one too many times. Speaking of food, he loves it and has been known to sneak in a little counter surfing; he finds fresh, warm home-baked cookies irresistible!
Cooper loves be in the middle of things and relishes attention. Car rides, baths and brushing are all enjoyed and so is playing with anyone and everyone any time! He’s ready for and will thrive on all the exercise you can give.
A big, handsome good-natured, very fun and active guy, Cooper’s hoping to be home for the holidays. With a smile and a wag Cooper says, “What could be better than to be curled up with you on a cool night by a warm fire?”
