My Story

Save Ohio Strays has fallen head over heels for this beautiful, smart, lively, playful, very affectionate male who we think is close to a pure breed Border Collie. He's black and white with tan accents. He weighs about 30 lbs. but may still have some growing to do. Cooper is approximately a year old and he still has a lot of puppy playfulness in him and amazing energy. He probably needs a family who is willing to take him on walks and play ball and frisbee with him for extended periods. Although he's no couch potato he does have his quiet and laid back times. He's eager to please. He leaves us alone for 8 to 9 hours at night and doesn't make a peep. He will go in a crate but prefers to be with his people. He is not aggressive in any way but reacts to sounds outside. He does respect authority too. He's neutered and up on his shots and he's totally housebroken. This one is really special and could easily be agility trained or learn tricks. He can jump very high and run very fast and is agile as they come. Take your vitamins.
