Meet Cookie Hi everyone, my name is Cookie so my entire bio will have a cookie theme. If you are British just substitute the word biscuit. If you are hungry or on a diet, don’t read further, you will be hunkering for a cookie by the end of this. I was rescued from behind some old grain elevators on 59 in Goliad, Texas. I was spotted crossing the highway number 59 and I was emaciated with the obvious signs of nursing puppies. My puppies and me were all scooped up and they have since been adopted and now it is Mommy’s turn to shine. I am about 45 pounds, about 5 years old and a “Shepherd” mix, maybe Cattle Dog, I have perky ears. If I were a cookie though, I would be a s’mores, because my motto is “gimme s’mores attention please!!” I even enjoy attention at the Vet’s office. I received good news there at the Vet, I am heartworm negative now. I had heartworms and was treated monthly and now they are cured. Treated. Treat. Sometimes a treat means cookie, sometime treat means a medicine, people words are silly. I was happy to get a treat on my way home from my most recent Vet visit, the delicious kind not the vet kind. I love children and I get along with other dogs. Foster Mom calls me one of her “back burner” dogs, because I kind of just blend in and don’t cause any trouble so she sorta forgets I am here. In other words, I am easy going and low maintence. I don’t have too many complaints here, free food and a good place to sleep, what is there to complain about. But there is one thing that really butters my biscuits. Have you ever watched a show called Sesame Street? Well, the way Cookie Munster eats cookies. So many crumbs fall out the sides of his mouth. Stop wasting all those cookies, Mister. All this talk about cookies is making me hungry, now somebuddy rub my tummy.
