COOKIE is a 45 pound, 6 year old spayed female Border Collie mix. This is a note from a volunteer who took COOKIE out for a walk today: "COOKIE was a rock star today, leash walking like a pro, stayed calm when bikers sped by... she's playful and affectionate, loves pets and belly rubs."

EASY PEASY! Once we've reviewed your application, arrangements can be made for you guys to meet! It'll be kind of like a blind date! *** This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and preventatives. Animal Alliance's policy is that we will adopt dogs younger than 1 year old to families with children under 9 years old. We do not adopt dogs 1 year or older to families with children under 9 years old due to the unknown history of adult dogs. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Meetings at our Adoption Center are by appointment only (no walk-ins). An online adoption application is required and must be approved prior to meeting any animals. Adoption appointments are set up by email by our Adoption Coordinator (no phone calls, please). This process ensures our dedicated time to the animals in our care, as well as full attention to adopters at scheduled times.
