Cookie

Just in case you missed Girl Scout cookie season, here's another chance to grab a Cookie! This Cookie ended up at the shelter after her owner passed away. She is reported to be house trained, and she was free in the house when left alone without any issues. Cookie would prefer a home with no children. Cookie is hoping for a home that wants to take her for walks (her favorite) and give her back rubs (also her favorite!). Oh, and of course, with a name like that, she loves treats, which is very helpful for training! Cookie is currently living in a foster home. The foster family describes her as very responsive to both verbal commands and hand gestures, including going into her crate. Don't let her age fool you, while she enjoys naps through out the day she also loves her walks and would thrive with a yard she can run in. Now that the weather is warmer, Cookie is proving to be an excellent grilling companion, one who will calmly watch with no judgement on your grilling or dancing skills. She simply just wants to be outside. She would love bbq nights with the family! If you happen to offer up a tiny tidbit, she'll be ever so polite and gentle while accepting the treat. And a post-meal, rear-end scratching session will reward you with her little tippy-tap dance, as she loves to give and receive attention! She was tolerant with other dogs in the shelter play groups, happy to hang out with the other gentle and polite pups and she previously lived successfully with another dog. She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and ready to start her new life with you!
