Hi my name is Conner, I am a medium sized dog and am up to date on my vaccinations and I have been neutered. I am a real sweetheart and love to snuggle with people once I get to know them. I can be shy with strangers and some boisterous children scare me. I do great with other dogs and love to play. I have also met horses, cows, pigs, chickens and cats. My meeting with the cat did not go well because that rotten cat punched me right in the face. However, I decided to take the high road and run away screaming instead of fighting back. I am fully housetrained, kennel trained and sleep well on a blanket in my foster parents room. I know lots of great tricks like sit and laydown and I also am really good of leash. My foster mom tells me that I have the cutest personality and loves to cuddle and wrestle with me. I am hoping to find a home that can be patient with me and help me become less shy with strangers (even though I've come a long way).
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!
Definitions:
Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)
On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).
Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
