My Story

Colonel Puffin - baby (12 weeks as of April 25) - Border Collie Mix - male - 18 pounds - white and black fluffy coat.

Colonel Puffin will be a big round ball of fluff as soon as he accomplishes his happy task of eating as much as safely possible in between happy licking and tail wagging.

The Colonel is a beam of sunshine, a bower of spring flowers, and a real corker all at the same time. He is one of the merriest, friendliest, sweetest little guys you have ever met. He was found on the side of an Interstate, which would normally make us all very cross and sad, but we have already decided that he had gone to join the circus and that we have simply performed an intervention until he's old enough to make up his own mind.

By then we firmly expect him to be safely and devotedly in his very own home.

Puffin is negative for Heartworm, Lyme and Ehrilichia, and so far has had a good worming, a bath, and his first set of shots. And much food, glorious food.
