One year old, 70 pound Cole is all you could hope for in a Lab! This wonderful boy loves to fetch, swim and play with his foster brother. He’s active and fun outside, but relaxed and easy going around the house. Cole is housetrained, knows how to sit, wait for his food (which he devours with glee when given the go-ahead) and is always eager to come right by your side when called. His greeting manners are pretty good and he’s excellent off leash. He’s a bit over zealous taking treats. While he has never met a morsel of food he doesn’t love and even snagged his foster dad’s sandwich, there have been a few beverage odors that have caused him to curl up his lip and look away in disgust!

He’s good with kids and loves to play with all kinds of dogs. He follows his foster brother everywhere and is always ready for a game of tug or seeing who can swim out to sticks in the lake first. This affectionate lover-boy enjoys your company, but is never demanding. At night after a full day, he quietly goes to bed. Cole rides well in the car, doesn’t chew inappropriate things and stays off the furniture.

Cole’s foster mom tells us, “He’s a great little boy and I’d keep him in a heartbeat if I could! Cole will be happiest in an active family and another fun loving dog to play with.” Cole has the unique distinction of being the Safe Harbor Lab with the longest tongue ever!
