Cody

This is the second time we have posted Cody. For those of you who frequent our site, you would remember him 11 months ago as Blake. Poor Cody is yet another victim of divorce. We should mention that while he was in this home of obvious stress, he had 4 siezures. Before he went there, he was in two foster homes and did not siezure. Since his return he has been in two different foster homes and has not siezured. The adoptive family also allowed him to become overweight. As of this writing, he is not on any medication and is on a diet and exercise plan. Cody has many great personality traits. He gets along with all the dogs he has met but prefers human companionship. A fenced yard is nice, but he would prefer to be inside with the family. He can be a little "whiney" if no one pays attention to him. This goes with some seperation anxiety that is improving weekly. Cody can be very animated and talkative so you will want to hang out with him. Cody loves his airline crate. The adoptive family will need to have one. He feels safe in there and often goes in when the family is home. Cody has shown some food protection with certain dogs. In his current foster home, he has been fine. This fun boy needs to learn some leash manners. He is completely housetrained and does not need to be crated at night. You don’t even know this big boy is in the car with you. He is well mannered, and knows all the basics. Like most Siberians, Cody will test his new family and new dog companion. Also, he needs the right amount of exercise daily. Obviously we will be picky about his next home. We will be looking for a family that will honor the committment they make to the rescue and the Siberian. Ask us about loveable Cody.
