Hi, I'm Cody. I'm a 10-1/2 year old approx. 100 lb Lab/Golden Retriever mix. My family feels that I'd be better off in a home where I would get LOTS of attention. I'm friendly, adoring and very playful. I love walks on the beach and hiking on trails. Yeah...I know...I'm 10-1/2, BUT I don't act my age! I'm housetrained! I was neutered in 1995, my shots are current and I DON'T have any health problems! I'm getting microchipped on 12-06-04. I had some formal obedience training in 1995 and I know a few commands. I get along with with other dogs and I live with a cat. I'm not a fighter --- I'm just a playful lovebug! A harsh voice is the only discipline I've received (very seldom). I am scared of fireworks and thunderstorms. I whine and try to find a place to hide! I'm not destructive in the house, yard or car. I'm good at the vets and don't mind baths! I only bark when a visitor comes or when there's something wrong. I've been around small kids and seem to be pretty comfortable around them...I'm just a really big guy! I like toys and games. I really like really good treats and can be possessive of them. That's the only time I've ever growled at a person. I like it better if you swap me for something better! If you take me to the water, be careful not to throw the stick out too far because I'll keep swimming 'till I find it!
