Cocoa isn’t so sure about this shelter thing. We know we haven’t yet seen the best side of her because she’s still getting used to this new environment, but we know that there’s a wonderful pup under that shy exterior! She’s started to be a bit brave and come get some attention from some of our regular volunteers, and we’re very proud of her for that. One thing she’s not unsure about is her love of other dogs…she seems to get along with them with ease! In the yard, she enjoys running and playing, just like a typical pup.
We’ve learned that Cocoa is housetrained, so that’s a bonus, but will need gentle reminders of her basic life skills as she grows up.
