Hi, my name is Cocoa. I am a chocolate toy poodle. I am 3 years old. I am very sweet and loveable. I came from someone who loved me but was unable to take care of me although they tried very hard. We were both homeless and I was given to a volunteer at Operation CARE of NC so I could have a chance at a stable life. I love to ride in cars, I like other dogs and I like having another dog as a companion. I like hanging out with my person but enjoy playing in the house and yard with my foster siblings. I would like to have a fenced backyard to run and play in. I enjoy eating canned food and lots of treats so I'm searching for a home to spoil me rotten. I prefer to run loose in the house and I don't like having my person out of my sight for very long. I run back and forth between playing with my siblings and checking on my foster mom. I have a lot of energy and would like to have a home where people will play with me - I know how to fetch a ball! I am housebroken and well behaved in the house. I can get along with cats but I will chase them just for fun! Please consider giving me a forever home! I weigh less than 15 lbs. Contact [email protected] for an application.
