Coco - Foster home needed

Coco is a 3 year old Corgi who is currently seeking a foster home within the lower mainland only. She is 17lbs overweight at 43lbs when she should be no more than 28lbs. We are seeking a foster home who can help her on her weight loss journey, so she can safely be put under anesthesia for her spay. She has been friendly with other dogs and she is not interested in cats. She is very affection and is desperate for attention.. she has lived outside in a yard her whole life, hence her wanting to be noticed. She's friendly with children, but we are seeking a foster home with older children 13 plus to prevent her from getting into food she should not be receiving. We have notice that COCO does guard her food and high value items. So if there is another dog in the home, no high value items should be left out, and dogs must be fed in separate spaces. She is NOT aggressive with people in the slightest. She is a very happy girl and very friendly, sometimes a little nervous of strangers. She had never been on a leash until we received her and she's doing really well. She seems to be house trained. Because she is Sooooo overweight, she needs a home without a lot of stairs. LMHS provides all food, vet care and supplies. You provide a safe home, love, training and keeping her on her weight loss program.. Once Coco is spayed and fully vetted , she will be up for adoption. Her adoption fee will be $895, and that will include her spay, vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchip and tattoo.
