My Story

Meet Coco, a confident senior Australian Shepherd who, despite being deaf, is full of life and love. Coco adores humans and treasures every moment spent with them, soaking up pets and affection. Coco's love extends to dogs of all sizes-she gets along wonderfully with both big and small pups. She walks very well on a leash and would be thrilled to join you on daily walks to help keep her in shape. Her love for treats will make future training a breeze. This sweet and calm dog is ready to be the perfect companion for anyone. Coco's heart is full of love to share, and she's eager to find a forever home where she can continue to bring joy and companionship. Are you ready to welcome this lovable senior into your life? Coco is excited to join your family and share her endless affection. - - - - - Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
