Coco, 9 years old, came to us with no background information. She was scared, snippy and had mammary lumps needing to be removed. Coco has had surgery removing the lumps as well as spay. Our vet said she was overbred. Time in foster care showed us 1. She loves her walks! 2. Good with other dogs after slow introduction 3. Wants to be with her human 4. Likes being petted but not picked up. If you are looking for a lap dog, Coco is not your girl. But if you want a precious pup to be a companion, go on easy walks and possibly be a partner for another senior pet she’s in!
