“CoCo is a dream Lab!” relates this handsome 2 year old Chocolate Lab’s foster mom. He’s a pretty laid back, good-natured, tolerant boy with the classic Lab temperament that everyone loves. At 80 pounds he’s trim and athletic. Our volunteer who met Coco told us: “He’s gorgeous! Everyone who saw him today fell in love and was laughing at his antics. He would do a playful bow to every dog he saw and wiggle his butt as much as his tail! While in a down position, he would scoot toward the other dogs. Silly boy!”
CoCo is housetrained and uses a dog door. He knows his basic commands – sit, down, stay and come. He has free roam of the house when his foster parents are away and has proven himself to be a good boy. Greeting manners are pretty nice; a Gentle Leader is best for leash walks. Coco loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters. His sister likes to get him to chase her; a game he’s happy to play with her! We don’t know how he feels about cats.
Fetching, playing with toys and emptying out the toy box in search of new and fun things to play with are favorite pastimes. Coco does like to sneak in a little counter surfing, something his foster parents are discouraging. He does enjoy snoozing on a chair or lounging on the sofa with you. Being an accommodating fellow, he’ll quickly learn your house rules if you prefer he snooze at your feet. An affectionate, lover of a Lab, he thoroughly enjoys being with you.
Handsome, athletic, affectionate, easy to be with and loaded with personality, Coco will truly be a treasured companion for a family looking for an all around great Lab!
