Cobalt was a stray and was impounded in a kill shelter in Georgia when we rescued him. We don't know anything about his past and he was heartworm positive. Cobalt is currently living in sanctuary care with some of his H-E-A-R-T Husky friends and is now ready for a furever home of his own. He's a 4 year old, neutered male. Cobalt is current on his vaccines and has finished heartworm treatment. Between his bright eyes and his wide smile, you can't help but to smile when you look at him. Cobalt would be okay as an only dog if he got lots of human attention. He's quite the silly boy and very entertaining! Cobalt would like a fenced yard to play in or to be taken on a few walks daily, and a couch to snuggle on. Cobalt is currently located in NC. His adoption area is CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC. Exceptions can be made for other neighboring states on a case by case basis.~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it's like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you're interested in.
