Easy-going, good natured and very well mannered, Clyde is gorgeous purebred Chocolate boy with the temperament everyone prizes in a Lab. He just turned eight years old and weighs about 75 perfectly proportioned pounds. He was surrendered to a shelter after his life-long family moved to an apartment that did not allow pets. It’s clear this boy had a loving an attentive family who left him with the note: “We would never have parted with him unless we had no choice. Please give him extra love for us.”
Clyde is housetrained, knows sit, down, is happy to shake with either paw and takes treats very nicely. He’s pretty manageable on the leash. He’s lived peaceably with cats, dogs and hamsters, but really prefers people to other pets. Clyde told us his favorite activities are playing catch with sticks and balls, playing tug with a squashed ball or towel and hanging out with the family. Walks and hikes are at the top of his list too. “Oh, and add pets and hugs and playing with other dogs to that list, please!” wags Clyde. He’s gentle and a gentleman with everyone young and old.
