My Story

Clyde (04-104) is a tri-colored basset who was turned-in to Gwinnett County animal control by his owners along with Bonnie (04-103) who is probably his mother. Clyde is an 8 or 9 year-old who thinks he’s a puppy. He loves to play with toys and particularly loves to play with his one year-old foster sister. He is very active – gets up and down stairs with no trouble at all. Clyde has no health issues and eats like a horse. Once he learns a routine, he is very obedient and really wants to please the human in his house. Clyde does not like to be dragged by his collar, however, but will just try to run away when this is attempted. He LOVES female dogs (he misses Bonnie) and will follow them forever! Although he's very loving with his foster family, Clyde seems shy without Bonnie around and he may snap at strangers - just out of fear or if someone approaches too quickly, so a home without small kids is probably best for him.
