CONTACT: If you are interested in this handsome boy, please call or text John at 562-391-7736. ---------------------------------------------- Looking for a loving, forever home for this sweet, goofy, possibly pit bull terrier mix named Clue (think of the Target dog or the Bud Light mascot). Clue weighs 49.5 lbs and is about 1-1/2 years old. Found as a stray in the rural parts of Yolo county, he arrived to the shelter skinny and scared. He is now looking good, has put on some weight and is a lot more confident. He may never have been walked on a leash but he is learning to do so, especially if you have a soft toy in his mouth ! We had a dedicated volunteer working with him weekly to improve some of these skills, and now Clue is in a training program to build his confidence and prepare him for family life. Clue loves to get out for walks and play fetch. He's totally cool with all dogs. big and small and doesn't react to any dog, even a vocal one! Loves food, he's very quiet in his kennel, but most of all, he would rather chill in the yard in the sun, roll in the grass or cuddle with a friend ( belly has to be full , though)! Once Clue graduates from training, he would so well in an active family, with an experienced handler, with older kids (age 14+) or no kids at all...and he would love a yard to play in or even a ranch!
