My Story

June 28, 2010. We have had this dog in foster care for 2 years now. We are hoping there is a loving and understanding family out there who would love to take on an older dog with lots of spunk left. Clementine's foster mom loves her dearly but is unable to save any other dog until this lovely girl has been adopted. Adopting Clem opens up a spot for another deathrow dog to be saved!

Clementine's story is a sad one, but we vow that her life will certainly change for the better now that she is away from her former owner, a 'man' who claims no responsibility in choosing to dump her after several years of promising to care for her for life. This incredible dog has never looked back and immediately bonded with her new people. She has a commitment to love despite being failed.

Clementine is a queen of sorts, a true rottweiler beauty who is totally devoted to people, but who will also tolerate other dogs after a warm-up period. She lived with other dogs previously, has even been around cats and other animals, but a home with no small kids would be best. She is around 4-5 years old and 85 pounds. She is one happy dog! She rides great in the car, and loves long walks (which she failed to get at her last residence as her nails were entirely too long and had been neglected). She does well at bath time and was recently groomed- did we mention she was pretty filthy when we got her? She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, on HW and flea prevention, and is ready to be in a loving home where someone will be committed to caring for her for LIFE.

If you are interested in providing Clementine with a foster or forever home, please email us. She has a complete love of life, is spunky and energetic, loves to snuggle in the bed, is ready to go and do at all times, and will be a superb canine friend. Please consider her, and let us continue to rescue other deathrow dogs!!
