Clementine

Clementine is a 2 year old, 37lb female Terrier/Basset Hound mix. Clementine is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hi there, they call me Clementine. My tale starts out a bit sad: I was probably an outdoor dog, then I ended up homeless, and finally I landed in doggy jail. I was pretty down, but then, things got better when I was rescued and taken to my foster home. I am very happy now! I get to experience life indoors, with plenty of food and water and a comfy couch (and laps) to snooze on. I also have several doggy pals, big and small, to play with, so I am a happy little camper. I am very dog friendly so I really enjoy playing with and learning from my foster siblings. My foster family is teaching me about indoor life, and they have been very patient with me. Even though I'm super affectionate and sweet, I do get a little nervous, but I'm working through this. Although I love things like couches and air conditioning, my foster family thinks I was probably kept outdoors, but even so I am pretty much crate trained and potty trained too, just the occasional oopsie. I am hoping to find a home with a person or family that will take the time to work with me and maybe take me to some obedience training classes so that I can build some confidence and improve my manners. I'm a sweet girl, and I'm a great lap buddy. I'm the kind of dog that just loves my people and I want to devote myself to my very own family. I love to play so I hope you will have toys and maybe a dog friend who can mentor me too. My short legs will carry me on all kinds of new adventures with my new family, I hope! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $500 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, microchip and transportation.
