Cleatus was released to the local shelter yesterday because he has hip dysplasia and the owner wanted him for breeding so he is no use to her. The breeder has refunded her money but will not take the dog back.
We will not consider adopting Cleatus to anyone who is not willing to pay for either the hip replacement or an alternative surgery to fix the hip problem. Cleatus will be nuetered at the time of his surgery.
