Clarice

Meet Clarice! Clarice is a beautiful and sweet young female foxhound looking for her forever home. At only about 2 years old, she's practically still a puppy! Clarice is the only girl of the 4 foxhounds and she is truly such a little doll. Clarice can be a bit shy with new people or new environments, but warms up quickly and shows off her adorable personality. She is very silly and playful, often wiggling and running around to show how excited she is. However, she is also quite the lover! She absolutely loves to give hugs and to be loved on, often 'smiling' at us! She is a high energy dog who loves to run and play outside, especially with her doggy friends. She would love an active home/family with a fenced-in yard. We don't know much about her past, but we believe that she has not had any training. She is not house broken and is still learning basic commands, leash etiquette, etc. and therefore would greatly benefit from a sort of 'Basics 101' training plan. Because she is also a bit shy, potential adopters should be confident with introverted dogs and plan to help build her confidence. Because she can be a little jumpy and excited at times, a home with children 5+ would probably be best. She is good with other dogs, but definitely has puppy-like energy that the other dog(s) would have to be okay with. A meet-and-greet is required. We're unsure about cats or other small animals.
