.....Adopted! :-) 4-9-05......Two+ year old Clarence sadly lived his life on the end of a chain without any shelter. As shown in the picture, Clarence suffered terrible neglect, and as a result, his tiny 11 pound body was encased in dense tangled cocoon of mats. Ironically, it was this thick covering of mats that protected Clarence from the cold and rain and helped him endure/survive the harsh weather.
Now rescued, Clarence has been shaved, bathed, fed, and sheltered. And he's now one very joyous appreciative happy little dog. Perky, peppy, affectionate, and social, Clarence is an absolute delight. Clarence gets along great with the resident dogs and tolerates (ignores) the cats. Clarence is seeking a home where he can be lavished with all the love, attention, and care he's missed out on while living on the end of a chain. Clarence is seeking a home without small children.
