What a gorgeous boy! Clancy is a purebred Labrador Retriever, about 2 years old and weighs about 65#. He was a stray picked up by Animal Control in Missouri along with his brother Clifford. The owner refused to pay to get them out, so C.A.R.E.S. rescued them before they were euthanized.
Clancy is a typical Labrador Retriever. Very smart, eager to please, and enjoys life. He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. He loves attention and wants someone to love him back. He can be head shy at times, poor guy, but that hasn't hampered his spirit. He is such a nice dog!
He is crate trained and we do not know if he is house trained. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids. He walks perfectly using a Gentle Leader. He would make a good running partner, he is extremely muscular!

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax) . This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends is a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
