One to two year old Cisco has settled in wonderfully in his foster home. He’s a very cheerful, happy boy who even wags his tail while he eats! Cisco has a compact, muscular build and a beautiful rich black coat, otter tail and great big paws. When it comes to temperament he’s a very sweet, good natured and affectionate guy.
Cisco is housetrained and has nice house manners, never chewing on anything inappropriate. Get out the treats and he’ll be happy to sit and down for you. He loves to come when called; leash manners need some work. When he comes in from the back yard after a play session with his foster brother, Finn, he greets his foster mom like his long-lost best friend even if he has only been out for 5 minutes. When he's excited he jumps a bit, but usually straight up in the air, rather than directly on people. He and his foster bro’ Finn have become best buds and they have a lot of hobbies in common - playing, eating, bone-chewing, playing and playing!
Cisco would enjoy living with another good-natured playful dog, but he's definitely a people dog too, so he would probably be happy either way. He's learning about dog toys from Finn, and has decided they can be pretty fun, especially for a good game of tug of war.
We completely agree with his foster mom when she says: “I think he will be a truly wonderful dog for the right person who is willing to give him the time, attention, and training he has not previously had, and very much deserves. All in all, a very good boy!”
