My Story
Fostering right here in New England.
Meet Cinna, a handsome little puppy bursting with joy and curiosity! This playful and healthy pup is always excited about life and eager to learn new things.
Cinna loves chewing on puppy toys, chasing balls in the grass, and playing tag with his foster siblings. After a long day of fun, he also enjoys snuggling up with his human mom and dad.
Cinna's story is heartwarming. One cold night in rural Mississippi, a young couple out for a drive heard what they thought was a fox. To their surprise, they found Cinna scared and alone. He eagerly ran to them, relieved to be found and rescued. The couple brought him to one of our southern fosters, where he quickly settled in and began to thrive.
Cinna gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings, and they have a blast playing together. Crate training is a work in progress for this sweet boy. Although he's not a big fan of being confined, he is slowly progressing. He has started to feel safe in his open crate during nap times, though he still voices his anxiety when the door is closed. We're confident this will improve with time and patience.
Cinna is incredibly sweet and gentle, especially with children. He loves it when his foster mom's young grandchildren come over to play.
Open your heart and home to this lovable little guy.
Cinna is ready to bring endless joy and companionship to his forever family!

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.
PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
Please consider purchasing this book before adopting. Perfect Puppy in 7 Days--How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, by Sophia Yin, DVM, is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have received amazing feedback on.
