As a previous stray and then a country dog, he has a strong prey drive triggered by small animals the size of armadillos and opossums. Has become unpredictable around cats.
Best as a companion to another dog in a home with other dogs his size. No problems around visiting children or other visitors that are welcomed into the home.
Knows basic commands: Out (of the room), Off (the couch, the bed), Lie Down, Come, Leave It. Crate trained but happier out to sleep on your couch. Up to date on vaccinations, fixed.
