Ciara

Ciara is an amazing dog who stands out for her distinctive appearance! Despite not having the typical GSD look, DNA results show she is predominantly that breed and she exhibits the loyalty, agility and playfulness that epitomize the breed without the size or heavy double coat. Her love for tennis balls has become legendary and a big yard is a playground where she can unleash her athleticism and revel in chasing squirrels and other "intruders". Despite her love for solo adventures, Ciara loves to play with her foster fur siblings and meet dogs while on walks. She could thrive as an only pet or with a canine companion (one her size or larger) for zooming around or wrestling. While initially shy with people, once she warms up, she loves getting and giving affection to those she trusts and loves. To unlock her full potential, she will excel with an experienced owner who can provide her with the right balance of physical and mental exercise and training (and pets!)
